CABIN JOHN & CARDEROCK
Adjacent to the Potomac River, Cabin John and Carderock are woodsy communities in the Bethesda area. Dozens of businesses are in the area with the central location of the Cabin John Village. The village hosts a local Giant Grocery and other shops. Right on the sparkling water of the Potomac sits the neighborhood of Carderock. Though it is close to 495, it attracts none of the traffic of the nearby cities. Residents are also able to retreat on a hike, picnic or fishing expedition at Carderock Recreation Area Pavilion.
