Welcome home to this beautifully updated, classic Petworth rowhome full of original character mixed with modern amenities. The current owners have lovingly restored many details throughout creating the perfect space to call home.

Perched above street level, you're greeted by a large porch as you approach the home - perfect for enjoying fall evenings or to take in Petworth's annual Spring Porchfest. Walking in you immediately feel a true sense of "home" as you enter the foyer, which features stunning archways. Warm refinished original hardwood floors carry throughout the main level creating a touch of timeless elegance. The owners smartly installed a main level half bathroom detailed with bold, fun wallpaper and marble floors conveniently tucked away from the main entertaining areas. This home still retains the original rooms giving you a large living room and separate dining room for entertaining. The renovated kitchen showcases stainless steel appliances with 5-burner gas range, white quartz counters, stunning blue cabinets, and two pantries. Just to the rear of the home is a cozy, sunlit breakfast nook with custom built in banquette providing additional storage and doubles as an office with built-in charging station. A coffee bar and beverage refrigerator complete this space.

Ascending the stairs to the upper level, you will find three large bedrooms and one full bathroom. The primary bedroom fits a king-size bed with plenty of room for additional furniture. The large spa-like bathroom on the upper-level features double sinks, vintage pedestal tub and separate shower. The original bathroom skylight streams in light to this space. There is a large linen closet just across the hallway.

Continuing to the lower level, take note of the beautifully restored stair treads on your way down. This space is a multiple purpose room currently used as a workout room, office space and work space complete with tool peg board. The large laundry area has been updated and features a double sink. A renovated half bathroom completes this level as well as a doorway to the rear of the home.

The backyard oasis contains a large patio where you can dine al fresco after grilling. The upper-level yard was created for additional green space and can double as a parking space. Mature lavender plants will spout in the summer and you can create your own garden in the raised beds.

This home is conveniently located just off beautiful Grant Circle and a short walk to Upshur Row with incredible local restaurants and shops, Yes Organic market, Petworth Metro Station and the weekend Petworth Farmers market.
